First local asparagus on the market stalls today. Also some 'imported', from the Wye Valley. All of it looked and smelled in tip-top condition.

Nope, it was on the cards this year but ran out of time and money

I have. A few plants in the garden, anyway. Going to be feasting on home grown this evening

Well that's a fat lot of help. I should have been more specific and asked who within striking distance of my house has an asparagus bed and wants help eating it.

Just expanded mine by a further 20 crowns. Should have it in abundance in another couple of years.

Well worth the effort IMO.

I have seedlings just coming up in the greenhouse - only another three years to wait .

We also have a small asparagus bed, grown from seed a few years back and it should crop well this year. Home grown is much better than any shop stuff and you can even eat it while it's still growing on the plant...

I have some of that for sell now that I've finally moved and yes I'm packing your fruit bushes at last and they will go out on Monday as long as Becki goes to the post office.
