iIreally hate to see waste - what could I do with off cuts of vinyl floor covering?

what sort of size? Biggish pieces can be handy in the garden to cover up bits of soil that you don't want weeds in between clearing and planting, or to put a lid on a compost bin maybe. If its the very squashy insulated stuff, small pieces might be useful underneath brewing demijohns to keep them off cold floors whilst wine is burping away?

Hey thank you Sally thats a good tip for the demi johns - I could use it under plant pots for a bit of added protection in the winter.

We have used it, in the past to line the kitchen cupboards, keeps all the nasty sticky stuff at bay.
