That's a small taste of the weekend.

Genuine brilliant. Without trying I saw a Peter Hook set including Joy Division and New Order, Paul Heaton doing new, Beautiful South and Housemartins stuff, Motown, pop, rock, disco, house, local and national music, famous and emerging. I also sat through lectures on animal communication, dance and theatre classes, some of the rudest poetry I'd ever seen, outstanding stand ups, brushed alongside Henning Wehn, Rhys Ifans and Charlie Higson, danced and sang, avoided being in three carnival parades, saw a Male voice choir doing disco, walked through the woods, on the beach and travelled on a steam train. All in warm sunshine in a beautiful setting.

If you're between 2 and 92 there was a weekend of fun for you there.

Certainly I'm heading back next year, unless it rains.

Sounds great. I wish it wasn't in term time though.

I didn't, no.

As for term time, it's on a Saturday and Sunday. (As well as a Friday and a long way away)

I so want to go to this one day. Pet Shop Boys in the weirdest village ever - what could be better?

We did. They were excellent. First band on the main stage on Saturday afternoon. Crowd grew from nine of us to around 5,000 by the time they played the second bar of the first number. (my perfect cousin).

Not even worse for not have Feargal there.
