Have noticed that there seem to be a lot of tiny flying pests around just recently - no doubt the consequence of successive mild winters. I don't know whether they are midges, but they hang around together in little swarms. I'm slightly concerned that their increasing concentration is not a good thing, and was wondering if there is anything I can do about them. We have quite a damp site here for most of the year, so changing the habitat not really an option. Is there any kind of control option that doesn't involve napalm or similar?
[I know this is slightly off topic, but I couldn't find a forum that would readily accommodate terminating little winged monsters.]
