MARCH
Sat 26th SEED SWAPPING DAY
10am to 5pm Come along with any spare seeds and swap them with like-minded growers. Vegetable varieties, but no treated seed please. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
Sun 27rd March WELLY WEEK
to Sun 3rd April HDRA�s annual fundraising week to raise funds for our education, research and international work.

APRIL
Sat 16th COMPOSTING WORKSHOP
11am or 3pm A practical demonstration of different composting techniques and containers. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
MAY
Sat 14th ORGANIC PEST AND DISEASE SOLUTIONS WORKSHOP
11am or 3pm A detailed look at how to control pests and diseases without using chemicals. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
JUNE
Sat 11th GO FORTH AND MULTIPLY WORKSHOP
11am or 3pm Learn how to take cuttings to make your garden flourish and save yourself money. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
Sun 26th STRAWBERRY FAYRE
10am to 5pm Spoil yourself with strawberries. Strawberry teas, strawberries and champagne, and pleasant
music are the order of the day. Charges: adults �3.50, concessions �3 and children enjoy free
entry. HDRA/RHS members: adults/concessions �1.
JULY
Sat 16th A STROLL THROUGH GARDEN HISTORY
11am or 3pm A guided tour of our historic themed gardens. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
AUGUST ORGANIC FRUIT FOR SMALL GARDENS
Sat 6th A look at trained forms in the fruit cage with practical demonstrations of summer pruning. Charges:

SEPTEMBER
Sat 10th Sep SEED SAVING WORKSHOP
11am or 3pm A look at the work of HDRA�s Heritage Seed Library and an introduction to producing your own home-grown ornamental and vegetable seeds. Charges: adults �3.50 and concessions �3. Children under 16 and HDRA/RHS members enjoy free entry.
OCTOBER
Sat 15th COMPOSTING WORKSHOP

Sat 29th/Sun 30th PUMPKIN WEEKEND
10am to 5pm Learn how to carve a pumpkin lantern, taste different varieties and sample recipes - plus plenty
