Having just built my coldframe (Hurray !) I have a question to pose to you all.

I have some seedling onions which I've grown on a wiindowsill and also another herb (Lemon thyme) which is a reasonable size but once again from the windowsill and I wanted to harden these off. Having built my coldframe can I just put these straight in and hope they'll survive (The windowsill is in an unheated room so there not used to much warmth) or do I have to put them out in the daytime and bring them back in at night as I used to do without the coldframe ?

thanks,

Jon.

Onions and thyme are both pretty hardy I don't see any problems with putting them straight in there

Cheera Tahir, I will get them out today (Looks quite mild for a while anyway !)

Jon.
