Sheila Dillon travels to Italy with pig farmers Peter Gott and Jimmy Doherty to find out why Italian pork producers are able to make more money from their herds.
Presumably a cross between inventive and economical processing, and a population not reared on low-fat Italian-style reconstituted ham in a an industrial bap, prepared to pay for and eat real food?
Grrrr.
That should be good. I always mean to listen to the Food Program and GQT on a Sunday and almost always forget. Which is pity cos there are usually interesting programmes on either side of them too.
