Sorry, i forgot that one. You can use a pallet to make a holding place for a bit of old tin and a couple of blocks.

How many hands have you got?

There's a book on the subject (pallets) called, I think, building with pallets.

My word, I've just goggled 'building with pallets': who knew there were so many relevant sites?

I have a double bed base made out of pallets. It isn't a thing of beauty, but then it is hidden by the mattress.

I made a pallet wrecking bar last year and it is posted on (youtube), you could make one from an old garden fork, cut off the outer tangs with an angle grinder, in use the U shaped fork straddles the spacing bar of the pallet and you lever up the plank from the pallet, (does that make sense)? I have made planter troughs and they have been great this year for growing salad leaves etc, cheers Dave NE

My first pallet 'building' was the dog kennel, 15 years later it has had dogs / cats / rabbits / ferrets and chickens in it and has survived 3 house moves, solid but HEAVY!

I use them as perches in the sheds and burn when manky

Currently reinforcing the post and rail fence with the larger Euro pallets to stop the goats escaping - not pretty, but functional.

Hay rack for the goats - worked very well.

On shed floor under feed bins.

Next task - goat play benches, but I need the ones with very narrow slats to stop feet getting stuck in them.

I do find them fiddly to take apart so could make more use of them if I could be bothered.

I'm afraid I do burn a lot of them as well though, cos we love bonfires
