Last year and the year before we just gathered them up as they fell. This year they aren't falling, the green outershells are turning black. I have picked a few and they have tiny maggots in between the outer and the inner, nasty and slimey. I have got a few that have nice green outer shells but the nuts taste a bit "green". Have we got the lurgy?
