If it's as wet where you are as it's been here for the last week (yay! rain!), go looking for watercress. It will be growing higher up on riverbanks, streams and even drainage ditches and lakes because of the wet conditions, and about now it'll be flowering so it's easier to spot. Past its best at this time of year, but it'll still make a cracking soup. Saw tons by the Cam yesterday.
Unless you're really sure otherwise, always assume liver flukes on wild watercress, and cook it thoroughly.
