But then you have to pay relocation fees. I remember the good old days when troublesome staff could be be flogged, much easier.

Do you mean whipped or sold?

I think I probably will - we're building a house at the moment, which will hopefully allow us to make a start by renting some land from the farmer, but it'll never be ours. As its in the South East, it'll be horrendously expensive, and while we can service the mortgage interest, it isn't going to get paid off, ever, as far as I can see. Although we plan to stay there for the next few years (unforseeable circumstances notwithstanding) we'll sell it eventually, and move out of the area to reduce the mortgage.

I suppose that's not really selling out - it's more upsizing now so we can downsize later!
