I reckon I'd go EBFFEB instead of FFFFFF, white with a hint of green should just take the edge off the contrast

but where do you place the code? I have been doing my own playing half to set you up to be able to play and half trying to figure out what to change, and whilst you can now play, I still can't tell you what to change

I found out where to put it but I didn't have much success with it

For Theme Element "Background Colour" Value should be "EBFFEB"

Let me guess you change it, it changes in the admin section but not on the forums?

Yup, it gives me a variety of things to do but none of them makes the change stick

To be honest I've been doing a few other things and it made no sense to me so it got immediately expunged from my memory banks, all I know is that I don't know

Well it looks to me like you have on this site changed a color setting even if it has not shown up.

The mirror is a safer place!

The colors should now be changed, on my PC though the old colors seem locked in the cache and so nothing has yet happened.

I thought I noticed something a little different.

However, I still cannot see the new icon in web links (from a new computer that has not see the site before).

Also, has the total number of views on the news items been removed?

It may be that unless you are an admin, you need to get down into the category you want to add to in the web links.

Someone thought the author and the hits field made stuff look crowded and messy. People seemed to agree and so they got wiped.

Sorry, I meant to say I cannot see the downsizers.net icon in my browser or when I add a favorite. I just see the mambo flower thingy. This is on a new PC that has nothing cached.

Agree with the total number of posts bit.
