You might also find the INEBG site helpful as it has a few woodboiler installers posting there in the wood energy section: https://itsnoteasybeinggreen.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=34

THanks both - that's going to keep me busy for a while!

Just found out that the boiler I was interested in needed it's own boiler room. Not an option, so back to the drawing board

Determined not to use oil, but it's not easy - everything seems to be geared towards a simple oil/lpg condensing boiler

Specifically on topic, my brother and his wife have recently survived the trauma of replacing a coal fired Rayburn with an Atmos wood boiler, accumulator etc etc to heat their B&B in Wales and are very pleased with the end result.

They have taken the time to share their experiences and for anyone seriously considering taking on such a project it is well worth a read before you start. See https://www.coedcae.co.uk/light_my_fire.html

Also, we have found it difficult and frustrating to view all the complete range of boilers available - the dealers only recommend the boilers and burners they stock. A good (growing) list of wood burner and boiler manufacturers is available to browse on https://www.carbonneutralfuel.com.

Best Regards,
Mark
