Aren't you going to do anything nice *at all*?:

Hope not but there'll probably be a party at my mum's this weeked as my dad's birthday is today and one of my nieces yesterday. We also had all of the wife's side of the family (including secret squirrel) over the saturday before last as my BIL and SIL's hubbie both have birthdays in March.

Saturday was when we first witnessed the master carrot peeler at work - pure art!
I just love the whole faces thing!

Glad you enjoyed it, was that the best bit of the day for you?

Happy Birthday for tomorrow, Tahir.

You certainly don't look your age. They say life begins at forty

Mentally I'm still 16 - shame the body isn't in agreement, never mind not everything has slipped south yet

So, are you having jelly and custard? You must be - your little ladies would enjoy that I bet.

That sounds far too much like fun to me.

I think I might join in the Downsizer manifesto thread. Compulsory jelly and custard* (or preferred celebratory meal according to health/religious/dietary preferences) to be mandatory for all birthdays

(*Based on locally sourced fruit and eggs and milk from extensively reared animals; gelatine to be provided from sustainably harvested seaweeed or leftovers from an organic cow )

Thanks moogie, but that's not really fitting in with the miserable theme that I enjoy at birthdays.

Ooh jelly and custard would get my vote for birthdays! And you have to have a birthday outing like the kids do, which is what we insist on in this house - youngest had the Steam Museum, eldest Legoland,I'm down for the Domestic Fowl trust for mine!( Himself Farmer Gows activity farm)

Happy birthday Tahir -all the best folk have birthdays in March you know!
