No cookers, I'm afraid. My usual source failed me this year.

Plenty of jerusalem artichokes, though. I wonder what they are like in chutney?

Are you downwind of me or otherwise? I can get cookers from our shop, but they're 90p a kilo at this time of year. English, though. Let me know if you want to proceed!

My local orchard has just finished. September to February officially but this year because of the cold spell they have lasted until mid-March. Mainly Jonogold, which is the main variety here. Lovely apples when available and a flat rate of 75c per kilo. We've bought loads through the winter, although we never got round to freezing some - must do that next year.

Is the promise of chutney still on? I am coming across on Easter Saturday and going back on the fourth.
