Given both the floor and the ceiling needed replacing, I am pretty pleased with the almost done result.

Who are u guest?

How much are you doing it yourself? I am sort of glad I did, as it is a sense of achievement, and it has expanded my skills, bit it took an age and further convinced me, that this is not where my skills shine.

The guest/ ian 1/ my other half is doing the whole lot, including taking down a wall and replacing it further out to extend the bathroom!! By whole lot I mean totall re-dec, new wall and ceiling, tiling and all plumbing. HELP ME!!!

Fortunately he is a decorator and has lots of experience of renovating properties in his work. Plumbing I am not so sure about though he did do our kitchen from scratch. Saves lots of money this way but not much fun with two small kids in the house. Wouldn't have it any other way though, he is very good at what he does

By the way we will try to take some before and after pics (before ones should give everyone a laugh, hopefully after ones won't!)

Looking great Jema, well done and congrats on not giving up. After all your hard work hope you're giving yourself a pat on the back.

Hopefully this means it will be done quick? My bathroom took practically two months of chaos

Almost pat on back time, the vent and the electrics are not actually finished yet.

We'll see Jema, could take forever I am keeping everything crossed. He keeps getting a faraway look in his eyes everytime anyone mentions bathrooms....me thinks his plans may be becoming more elaborate and that could mean i am years away from a completed bathroom!

Like the shower they will be replace when needed

We have spent rather a lot on this already But trying to do it cheaper seemed like a chronic case of false economy.
