I would like to a have a go at building a hen house for just a couple of Bantams, has anyone got plans that they could forward to me.

I thought of converting a rabbit hutch, has anyone done this?

If you have a search you might be able to find some suitable plans online although I think I've only found one set of decent ones.

If you can get hold of a copy a good book to give you some ideas on methods, sizes etc is:

Poultry House Construction by Michael Roberts ISBN 0947870 210

It has plans for arks, fold units, houses etc from 1 to 10 hens. It's a small book but I found it an ok beginners guide. You might want to read some of the comments on Amazon before you decide to buy a copy.

It's published by: www.goldcockerelbooks.co.uk and they have other useful books. (The books may be cheaper elsewhere)

I've just found this site and it has links to various free chicken house plans. I've not looked at them all but should be useful.

https://www.freeww.com/chickencoops.html

Seems to have plans from an ark to large barns and even a "Dead poultry composting facility for 120000 birds."

I did!
I just widened the access to the small sleeping bit to make a nest box, added a ramp and put new bolts on. Not much work needed really.
The hens are very happy in it - we have 3 ex battery hens.

My pekins live in exactly the same set-up as soapnutters - a three foot rabbit hutch. Only I've boarded up the two wire doors to three quarters height. Five fitted in comfortably. If you raise it up on legs a few inches they have a dry dust-bathing area underneath.
