I've worked at several sites that do. I mainly work in IT in the Bankassurance sector...

Was just checking my facts on this report before I commented.

What a pile of shit. UK gov is no closer to using this than they are to using OS2. All HMG systems need to be built with security in mind, this means that the product has top be tested. HMG charge the supplier the cost of the testing. Microsoft can afford to pay for the testing, who in the open source enviroment is going to cough up the money for the testing???

You'll remember the 'secure' red briefcase that Labour designed and claimed how cheap it could be made and that the Tories were wasting money. It was made with untested products and therefore couldn't hold anything more than unclassified data. These reports are generated just to keep someone in a job.
