Well I like them and I planted them anyway so there.
(Will give you all your chance to say "told you so" later on when they don't germinate/die off in the cold/take over the polytunnel etc. )

I have a fabulous tiny paperback book on my shelves, called The Pip Book...guaranteed to lead you astray when you have something new and think...hmmm...I could grow this

Funny enough it doesn't mention things like toms and peppers, both of which I've grown successfully enough from food seeds, but it is the sort of book you can thumb through and go, well, if you can do that.

battered and fried okra is heavenly! mmmmm beer batter is the best but a highly seasoned batter works too
