I can't knit either, but wanted to say this thread has brought tears to my eyes. What a lovely bunch of people there are on this (and other) forums. Sarah, I hope you end up with a huge parcel of scarves to distribute ... you're certainly well on the way!

Got it and replied Becki, thanks. I'm on Ravelry now too - as SharkBait, look for Nemo - and between the 2 places I have 25 scarves promised (and that's counting people who said "some" or "a couple" as only one!) I'll have to find a third refuge contact....

It took a couple of days for my invite to come - I was suprised at the speed (I was expecting to wait a couple of weeks)
