Inspired by Judith's search for apron ties, we thought about having an apron challenge - everyone needs an apron to do downsizery things in (or you do if you're as messy as I am!) and they're very easy to sew. No competition, or deadlines, or restrictions - just post your questions or results here............

Great idea, might be a nice addition to my family Christmas hampers actually.

Hmm...could even do Mum and toddler ones for those with kiddies

Might be a bit heavy! You could probably wear one for carding though - that looked a bit fluffy!

You might want to be a bit careful where you stick the pins though

Having started this off, I'd better join in.

I have piles and piles of old curtains that people have given me for some reason. I was planning to use some of those in the true spirit of DS.

I need a vinyl one but I don't think my sewing machine is up to the heavy fabric weight (not that I know how to use it anyway )

Leather and vinyl aprons. All sounds a bit kinky to me. NL will be on in a minute asking for a rubber one!

That's your filthy mind that is

When felting, there tends to be a lot of sudsy water around
