Wood pigeon shoot with .22 airgun with permisssion from local farmer. Thinking of selling pigeon breasts to local restaurants @ markets etc Do i need a game licence - have a food hygiene cert - is they any other licensing issues ??? ideas on price / labelling. Advise welcome...

shoot them and find a butcher to take them off your hand, you will need a lot of paperwork for a business like that i would of thought.

Easier and maybe more valuable swapped with others than sold for cash, maybe? Try an ad here offering to trade them.

But if the birds are being 'butchered' then you'll need to contact Environmental Health.

In England anyway: https://www.basc.org.uk/content/game_licences_

I'm not sure if game licences actually covered pigeons as they aren't technically game.
