Yes I am rather more mature than you guys. I'm retired/retarded ( you decide ) and this is what I do in lieu of a job. I must admit that it is rather a nice way to spend your time.
In the apple picking and pressing season I work my nuts off, or should that be pips? but by its very nature cider making is very seasonal. Getting the new barrel room ready for the coming season was a one off. Tonight I have to get some bag in boxes filled for the pubs but this is virtually the first thing that I've had to do with the cider for months.
Wish me luck. I'm ready and waiting for my first customer. My temporary events license starts in quarter of an hour and runs through until eight this evening.
