And because of the interest it the 2 threads i think he is knocking up another batch should anyone want one, it can be got into the DS courior service cos i can collect them when i pick up mine

I made this, a shoe rack. Sanded and varnished, it stands in my front porch, very useful.

I would rather bring it to you so i can have a nose round your farm and pet some animals on the head and stuff cos i live in the middle of a town and the only things i get to see are rats and wood pidgeons

And having just looked up your address i drive almost passed the end of your road a couple of times a month cos i have a few friends in Braintree so come off the M11 and head up that way I know where im getting my chickens when im ready

You can sell them if they are of decent quality and in reasonable shape.

After the glowing recommendation from my two friends: Richard & Pilsbury.

I thought that I had better take the time to post and tell you all that I am the maker of these Pallet reclamation bars.

The bars are �35 each + P&P, although at the moment I am trying to sort out a cost effective carrier for them, as I consider the big 5 carriers to be unjustifiably expensive.

The bars are available in three sizes:

500 mm long X 55 mm tine gap for removing roofing battens.

750 mm long X 80 mm tine gap for stripping most Euro and light duty pallets.

1000 mm long X 105 mm tine gap for heavier duty pallets.

Other sizes are available upon request.

When I need to strip down a pallet I use a builder's pickaxe:
put one end of the iron diagonally under a plank near the nails, with the end of the handle supported by another plank, use the handle to lever the plank up, giving extra leverage by putting a foot on the other end of the iron.

This sounds more complicated than it actually is, get a pallet and a pick and give it a go. I can strip a pallet down in just a few minutes.
