Don't actually think I've bought anything new this year - all my clothes have come from my Step-mother who is a similar size to me and a shopaholic so buys clothes left, right and centre otherwise I tend to buy them from ebay or places like Marisota and Evans not being the skinniest woman on the planet

Alternatively as I have the biggest fabric stash I make stuff but I've not done any of that either this year - never seem to have any time or when I've got time I'm too exhausted

When countrywide get rid of their end of season fleeces I tend to buy up what I can.

Must admit I had a 'posh' do to go to in London a couple of months ago, so I splashed out on a dress (in the sale) from Kaleidoscope. I think it cost me �45. I have worn it three times now, so �15 a go. I only decided to buy it because I was disappointed at missing some fabric on ebay that I really wanted, to make a vintage dress for the occasion, but stoopid internet connection at the crucial time meant I missed it - 4 mtr for �4, a real bargain!

Once upon a time if someone gave me a handful of cash and said "Go and buy yourself a frock" I'd have had a list of likely places in my head to go and spend it...now I couldn't think for the life of me, anywhere that I could go IN PERSON that I could guarantee would have something I liked!

I also bargain hunt when it comes to clothes, so even online I'd baulk at paying out...Gudrun Sjoden has stuff I like but it's waaaaaaay tooooo expensive

So TKmaxx is my Mecca, but I hunt for the reduced stuff there too

Am currently wearing Birkies that came from them for �14, so they manage to supply me with shoes from time to time. There are also several factory seconds shops in Cardi, which come up trumps on things like t-shirts. Finding decent jeans is the bane of my life.

Normally I wear Merrill shoes bought from Millets ONLY in the sale!
Bra's have to come from a specialist underwear shop as high streets don't carry my size, sales bargains are to be found, especially in bright colours, otherwise just have to gulp and pay up! Other underwear from Peacocks or similar.

I've kind of given up on charity shops around here, as to be honest the
prices don't compete with the seconds shops (�3 for a t-shirt?) and a lot of the 'nice stuff' is too fancy for my lifestyle.

Mainly charity shops,and M&S for underwear. Socks from Milletts. I have bought two new pairs of combats from M&S this year. If I had to buy new,I do like Fat Face and Gudren Sjoden,but would need a lottery win.

I like fat face, too. But my current shape means that they would have to rename themselves 'fat arse'.

Charity shops; ebay; plain long-sleeved T-shirts from M&S; underwear bought new too. Today's outfit : GAP sale shorts, over 10 years old; black M&S vest; M&S socks; charity shop Clarks shoes. I like Hobbs linen stuff, when I can find it second-hand.

From someone who used to struggle to find things which were long enough its a nice shift but as is frequently the way with things things while solving the problem for one group they have just created a new one

charity shops, online when there are good sales (t*cos had a 50% off everything online the other week...got several things there cheap!!), occasionally primark (like their shorts style knickers) Todays outfit is charity shop top, ancient pair of leggings with a leopard stripe down the side, Aldi �4.50 leather mules,99p shop lilac straw trilby!

Mostly M&S I suppose. Not sure about underwear as I don't seem to be able to find any decent cotton boxers these days and why oh why do women seem to mill about in the mens underwear section?

M+S especially when fairtrade. Nomads clothing I adore but can't often justify! Charity shops definitely, and sometimes specialist shops like one has to for maternity stuff! Oh and sometimes the Next sale

Never heard of Nomads before. I can see why you like them, very nice.
They got a sale on Nats

Lovely maxi dresses ... but no good for me as I'm not tall enough!
