Once upon a time if someone gave me a handful of cash and said "Go and buy yourself a frock" I'd have had a list of likely places in my head to go and spend it...now I couldn't think for the life of me, anywhere that I could go IN PERSON that I could guarantee would have something I liked!
I also bargain hunt when it comes to clothes, so even online I'd baulk at paying out...Gudrun Sjoden has stuff I like but it's waaaaaaay tooooo expensive
So TKmaxx is my Mecca, but I hunt for the reduced stuff there too Am currently wearing Birkies that came from them for 14, so they manage to supply me with shoes from time to time. There are also several factory seconds shops in Cardi, which come up trumps on things like t-shirts. Finding decent jeans is the bane of my life.
Normally I wear Merrill shoes bought from Millets ONLY in the sale!
Bra's have to come from a specialist underwear shop as high streets don't carry my size, sales bargains are to be found, especially in bright colours, otherwise just have to gulp and pay up! Other underwear from Peacocks or similar.
I've kind of given up on charity shops around here, as to be honest the
prices don't compete with the seconds shops (3 for a t-shirt?) and a lot of the 'nice stuff' is too fancy for my lifestyle.
