Taking advantage of the humungus gales we're having, I've just got back from our first outing of the season with gun and lamp. We were out for less than an hour, closer to forty five minutes actually and after just ten shots, we had bagged these nine rabbits. I got in ten minutes ago just in time for supper. Guess whats for dinner tomorrow night?

Lovely, autumn begins and I too look forward to the season of proper meat, game in all it's glorious guises.

I'm hoping that we have something of an Indian summer before winter begins ,so that I can get my new boat out and put some fish in the freezer.
