I grew 3 Jalapeno plants from seed 2 years ago. I cut them all back to nothing and reduced watering last winter, one of them survived and is still fine. Not sure why the others didn't survive?

I am fortunate that our living room has large windows and sills that face East and get the sun from early morning until midday, so they live on there all year round. I know any cold or draughts are a killer so if your conservatory or greenhouse isn't heated, it's a no no.

With regards to white fly and aphids, I have always found soapy water as and when needed does just fine.

I bought a Rooster Spur plant this year whilst at the Dorset County Show. I also bought some Orange Habanero seeds to try in the spring. The folks were very good, have a look at their website for more info' and courses https://www.seaspringseeds.co.uk/

Hope this helps.

I've just spent a happy afternoon "having a go".
