Aye, I've got cows sitting down for the first time in ages. I don't think it's because it's going to rain, rather than the ground is dry enough for the first time in ever.

Mine was nearly dry enough to mow and then it snowed

Never mow ours until March. Residents may moan,but a hard frost after a good cut doesn`t do the lawn much good.
