like any good trades firms ,shed makers should be happy to show you "one they made earlier" . having a look will give you a good idea of their build standards even as a non expert it is easy to see if welds look tidy ,posts are vertical ,corners square and if it looks strong,pretty or ugly etc etc . do the doors still fit after a few months is a fairly good test of a structure

How much of a rush are you in. If not I would go down to the Royal Cornwall show in the Summer, and have a look round there to get started. They have some permanent exhibits there. I would also look at the MVF pin board.

Them cow kennels came very popular in the 60`s when dairy herds started expanding, They looked very smart when erected, But not so 20yrs later.

No, but plenty of them around, still. The neighbour has one, and the other neighbour has a single leg of one up (not quite sure why). We've got two Crendons.

It runs in the family, my dad used to have two, 12 bays in total, 40ft span...

You don't need the knowledge, the fabricator will tell you all you need to know about the building, if you tell him the size you want and the type of cladding. He will know far the uprights have to be in the ground for the height you want, and the pitch of the roof you need for the snow to fall off, not in, and what sizes of steel he needs to put in to stop it blowing over. There are 3 men local to me and all are busy, and as far as I know are BS qualified- these boys know their game. And they are all keen to help-part of the service-why?they want your business!
