I have a four year old girl who (being four) is not very keen on vegetables. However (being a four year old girl) she is mad about anything pink, so we are choosing pink vegetables to grow this year. I have purpley pink cauliflower, beans and tomatoes and stripy pink beetroot. What else might we try? (strawberries, cherries and raspberries go without saying. I'm also looking forward to a 'pink berry'!)

They have pink blueberries nowadays, and radishes, and toms, borlotti beans have a hint of pink about em

spuds do pink. chard, rhubarb for next year quite a few of the beans are pink (in green)

You can get purple carrots and spuds.

I was going to suggest pink grapefruit but apparently 20-30 years to fruit

Yes, I have quite a varied set to try this season (so no info yet on germination etc)

No, wait, that's a lie, I did throw in some tiny tom tomato seeds to grow indoors over winter, they are doing very well considering.

Purple is second best (because it's my favourite). I forgot about spuds - we have pink fir apple chitting. Rhubarb is in already. I'd completely forgotten about chard. I'll get some rainbow carrots and I was considering rainbow aramanth - is that the same as orach? I hopefully have a pink blueberry on the way. Do you think flowers count as one of your give a day? If so, I think we're sorted!

They're on my bedroom windowsill. South facing, painted white all around. They went a bit leggy, are supposed to only be 12-18 inches max, and didn't really do much until maybe Jan/Feb?
