I read somewhere that the best bit of fish are the cheeks. So when I cleaned the mackerel today I left the heads on. Having fried them, I tried finding the cheeks .... do mackerel have those at all? Or is it just the larger fish which have cheeks worth going on about?

Can't say I fancy the look of them. I've had cod cheeks before, they were OK.
