I think it shows some advantages in the "do it now" approach

That post less than 2 months ago was made minutes after thinking of doing it, and I'd be willing to bet that had we tried to think about it and plan it, it would never have actually happened.

The here's "something sort of working" approach did I think convince quite a few key people to believe it wasn't hot air.

I'd be curious as to how it was seen?

It does feel like its been here forever. I think when it first started I couldn't quite see how it would work. I think it's changed a little and really developed its own personality. When shall we start planning the October 2005 birthday party?!

I don't think it will surprise you to know that I wasn't totally falling over with joy when you and Treacodactl were almost the first to volenteer. I was looking for a small team and when you contacted me, I was faced with the realisation that I knew barely anyone at all, well enough for me to want to risk making a team out of

Fortunately Tahir was there and did know people a lot better than me

I'd have to say I think for a bunch of people who (mostly) have only ever spoken over the wibblywobblywotsit we've pulled together an excellent team and though we're all different we've worked well together. It's been a joy
