We have one bolete, but not sure which one it is. Trouble is the slugs love it, so I don't have many intact ones to identify.

is it red/yellow and a bit ugly looking on instinct? = probably satanus(the name is a hint)
ans= no goto maybe edible

goto phillips or rogers

the details matter but they are easy to follow in both

if you show us a snap we will have a go at giving it a name
normal disclaimers apply

Masses of parasols this year, and they seem to have a second season. I had a good crop about 5 weeks ago which I am sure was earlier than usual, and now they are starting again! Almost too many. Would they dry and keep if treated properly (i e How?)

If I get one with enough to identify I will look in Phillips or Collins, but haven't managed to get a very positive ID yet. Don't think it is satanas, but as I say, the slugs get to them before I have a chance. Not many fungi here yet, but probably will get more later.
