Yes, I think I need to do that this year. Things don't seem too bad, just mildew on the courgettes and some mould on the grapes. I think I need to spend more time on the greenhouse, but time and energy at the right time of year seem strangely lacking.

I generally find my courgettes do better outdoors than in the greenhouse.

Sounds good Dpack. I have a courgette outside, and it is producing, but not as well as the one in the greenhouse, and it is rather later too. If the weather keeps up, both should give us a few for a bit longer.

Bordeaux mix can buy you some time with the fruit.... Unfortunately, doesn't buy sunshine.

quicklime in a hole is a better treatment for these

it is the sun thing due to the NW and shade aspect of the small grow space i have outside

I want a south facing slope in a walled garden with assorted poly tunnels etc etc.

pv on a few bits of roof, battery, led rig, vent and hydro and do it indoors would be easier than growing in what is basically a canyon

I picked two of those yesterday GZ, I grew two plants of that one. Not tried it yet though. Looking forward to it.

I've got two gardeners delights and 8 other plants of unknowns, as they were just given to me with no labels.

My Alicante in the greenhouse are doing reasonably. I have had one damaged tomato off one, but not eaten it yet, and another is virtually ripe, so will pick it very soon. I don't have a lot of luck with growing from seed, so had to buy what I could as seedlings.

Jam Lady, what a beautiful horse team! Are they Haflingers? The colour is right but I can't remember if they are as heavy as that.
A joy to see

We've got sungolds sprawling in a small tomato jungle planned into a young hugelkultur mound, that we've been eating for a couple weeks.

lowri I'm a little confused. Which team of horses?

If you are referring to last year's Howell Living History farm visit, how I finished my day after the visit to Burpee's Fordhook Farm - that is a team of Belgian draft horses and yes, they're a good size.

Yes Jam Lady, I guess that was what I saw. Beautiful team of Belgians. Thank you. Must have been Howells Living History Farm.
