Are you bored Nick?
That is really good. How long did it take you? |
BORED? I'm married. I have a list of jobs that keeps growing, as well as a full time job. Ish. (maybe 8 hours a week, currently.)
How long did it take? Well. There are two schools of thought on this.
School 1. I saw very similar ones at a beer festival in May last year. Making them became added to my list there and then. I bought the staves from the same brewery around a month later. (£30 for 9) And I bought the pallets from someone local about a fortnight ago for a tenner. So, about a year.
School 2. I put the saw to the first pallet about an hour and a half before screwing the final barrel stave onto the arm. Arguably, it still wants running over with a sanding block, but under 2 hours, and the only plan I had was in my head, so plenty of tea was consumed during the time.
People who choose school 1 as the answer are in the, incorrect, minority. |
