Does the next model up recline?

It’s 100% horizontal. Think .... 2 pallets next to each other.

That's a futon, not a bench.

no splinters is good, bottle rack is genius

making use of the available staves/pallets will lead to assorted designs

what could one do with a huge barrel? or little ones? + assorted pallets

re pallets some will have been treated with horrible stuff, they are best avoided for owt folk might touch(and firewood)
raw or heat treated are ideal, you can add safe preservative and or surface sealing as you choose

some pallets i had when i was fixing sd's house had a mix of hardwood and softwood which gave some ace smallish hardwood planks

french cement seemed to have a lot of hw in the pallets

Also, love the sheepskin idea. Why doesn't Rob sell them any more?

Anyone know a supplier?

And, yes. She also said it would be great if I could make it swing, and have a canopy. Do you lot all get instructions from one Central Mad Woman?

Convergent evolution.

I can’t remember who does sheepskins now. I’m sure I’ve seen them somewhere. I got my last one from rughouse, but they do turn up now and again at farm shops and the like.

Hauser and Wirth in Bruton sell sheepskins. They're probably not open at the moment. And they will be massively expensive. So that's probably not much help.

Amipest spoke to an old friend yesterday who told her to make a bar in the garden and has leapt enthusiastically into action sawing and sanding pallets.
will post the results though whether that's of a bar on from A&E remains to be seen.

I think I’ve given quite enough to Bruton over the years.

I expect it to be able to incline as well.

Oh and a floating bench with a little engine would be good. Maybe 2hp. Although, I expect if you really put some effort into the design, you could get it to plane.

It needs that coffee table/blanket box.....

So. It got a coffee table, and cushions. And two friends.

Full set will be four chairs, one table.

Thankfully the alcohol will numb the pain.

That all looks really good Nick.
