i found a bramble growing through the greenhouse window and picked some off it last week. I think i have another child who will spend several months of the year making herself purple.

went for a look down the garden yesterday for some more, found a plum tree my parents didn't know was there. it's sort of in the hedge, but it's no so enclosed that they would have missed it. it's about 10 foot high.

Blackberries here too. It feels early - but I'm not really sure.

to be fair- our wild ones are a way off, but there's a thornless bush against a wall that's fully fruiting

our wild blackberries are only flowering now, but the tayberries, sunberries and loganberries are having a great crop, I wonder if that's what you're seeing, something like that gone feral or crossed?

We had our first here yesterday too. I managed to get to them before the birds!! The brambles are heavy with them this year. Can't wait for bramble jelly
