Some nearby pasture is heaving with (what I think are) Meadow Puffballs (basically small white puffballs that never get bigger than a golfball). I have never bothered picking them in previous years but am considering it this time round....... has anyone had any experience with them? Are they worth it?

My main question is whether they taste good enough to bother exhaustively ID'ing, picking, prepping and eating.

i find that with edible shrooms i like some and not others and not always the ones that are most reccomended as delicious
