Banned for expressing opinions? My, that's democratic. If they were being abusive I'd understand. But then, I wasn't overly impressed by the head of the BBKA's limp performance on Farming Today... last month, was it? He waffled, he stumbled over his words, he went off the point, he didn't address the point... It was like listening to poor old Michael Foot in the 1980s when he led the Labour Party. As in, obviously intelligent but completely unsuited as a media spokesperson and advocate.
The guy in charge of a huge commercial beekeeping operation, who at the time was classing all non-commercial beekeepers as disease-spreaders, got away with the most outrageous rubbish simply because he was lucid, and entirely comprehensible. |
