When you unfriend someone, do all the posts you and they have made on each other's walls and status updates go, too?

Not sure about un-friending, but when a friend closed their account they fell off my account too.

Thanks. I'll wait until my sister has had time to read the caustic remarks I've left on her profile before I drop her, then

All this new-fangled abuse, I can't keep up with it. Whatever happened to just sending someone a turd in a shoebox? All the fine old traditions are dying out.

More of an American tradition. The shoebox has in any case been largely replaced by the jiffy-bag of poo. I once heard Jamie Oliver gets sent on average five of these a week; I've never found out who sent the other four.

But that's just so Eighties. A Tupperware box inside a Jiffy bag is the modern way. I'm surprised Facebook hasn't come up with a cyber version.

I was once warned for sending someone a cod's head in a Jiffy bag. Second class.
Oddly, he's now a 'friend' on Facebook!
