how long do they bleed for what as my pekin came in all bloody so i washed and purple sprayed it but seamed if it was pumped same rate as heart so it was throbbing any advice?

its what i thought more blood than anything i think the other chooks started squaring up between the fence so just washed blood off and purple sprayed it so looks ok now just thought id ask advice to cover my back

Potassium permanganate is the best for stopping bleeding on chooks, it also sterilises the wound. Also great for dogs nails and chooks beaks. Get the stuff from the chemist for making foot baths x
