Mine is a full-size tree size now, but will grow more, must be about 18ft maybe? It grows a bit close to an elder, so is a wee bit lopsided, and it lost some of its bark when the ex got a bit over enthusiastic with the fire pit , but it seems happy enough to flower, so must be ok; this year it's gone out and beyond the edges of the elder so should get up and away. The leaves are huge by the end of the summer, like big plates. Lovely tree if you do have the room - think it gets to 40 - 50ft or so.

Very envious, it's the most beautiful tree - I wish I had space for one. There are wonderful ones in Ravenscourt Park and I'm visiting London tomorrow so I might go and see if they're in flower - They're backed by huge evergreen oaks so look very dramatic.
