I WAS going to be collecting some rather gorgeous Marans eggs next week ... but have been let down by the supplier.

I will, therefore, have space in my incubator for a dozen eggs ... incy will go on on Monday 16th May, and be "loaded" on Tuesday 17th.

I'm reluctant to go postal, because I know hatch rates can be very low ... however, if there's anyone on here who is near-ish, please PM me with what you've got and where you are, and I'll see if I can come and get eggs from you!

I'll pay, of course!

I might well be talking to that lovely Chez-woman. Does anyone on here know what colour eggs Barnvelders lay? (I know I could google, but I've got a "head" for the 2nd day in a row, and really shouldn't be online at all as a result!!)

GR I nearly didn't see your edit! It's only because TG referred to your cuckoo marans that I looked back-up the postings.

Hmmm ... how many eggs can one get into an Octogon 20? If I leave out the separating bars? LOL I might be interested in some Marans and Cuckoos, GR. Depends how many CLBs I get from my friend in France.

Only twenty. If you put more in you stand a chance of messing with the humidity. You could always do two hatches, you know!
