hi all this may be a bit cheeky but hay ho me and bunnykiller live in the torbay area and are after some land for hunting (shooting, ferriting and lurchering we are a safe and well behaved pair honist but we seem to have a problem getting land as there is always someone shooting it already if anyone can help please feel free PLEASE refrences ask pricie and the peeps from the weekend thanks sparky

Having met them both they are very friendly, knowledgeable and safe. If anyone has a rabbit problem I can recommend the ferrets.

just spoken to "the boss" and apparently a ferret can quite easily take on about half a dozen rats at a time. but pregnant or nursing female rats seem to get that extra strength from somewhere and will quite happily take on a ferret.

then of course there is the chance of getting weils disease (and that includes yourself) and also any other diseases they are carrying from a bite.

ihho he wouldnt use his ferrets for rats.

A close friend of mine cetainly used to have a farm in the family down in Devon. I will track him down and see if he has any usefull contacts. Need to speak to him/his dad anyway as I want to shoot on his Dad's land up in Essex. Good luck with the search, I'll let you know. Pete
