Ditto, or make them myself, which doesnt qualify as 'buying', though I guess I do have to buy the material to make them with. Even that comes from charity shops or fleabay.

Mostly charity shops and self-made, except for underwear which I buy at M&S. I very very occasionally buy new pair of trousers, shoes or a waterproof jacket - every 5 years maybe? Mind you my last pair of shoes was a CS bargain!

Strange you should ask that Fee, I was just thinking about it yesterday.

Mostly charity shops.
The odd thing in TKMaxx ...which I often have to take back because I've not bothered to try it on and it looks ridiculous on me!.

I think the only impulsive thing I've bought this year is a slate grey linen dress ... it's nothing posh (from Tweedmill, our local shopping Outlet) but fine for Exhibition openings and any gallery meetings I might have.

Just looking at what I've got on now ... Annie's Ogwen Charity Shop cords (Next) and a Tenby charity shop short dress

Vegplot will vouch for the fact that I'm pretty hopeless at spending on clothes for myself.

ETA. New underwear is a must, that's one of the few things I couldn't wear after anyone else.

Charity shops or eBay, mostly. New underwear and shoes. My mother says that money spent on underwear or shoes is never wasted!

a mix of charity shops and country shows its very rare i go high street shopping nowadays. chez your mother is spot on. underwear and new foot ware (in my case boots you never have enough of ) are money well spent on quality. i picked up some real bargains on the joules stand in peterborough upto 75% off i picked up �140 worth of polo shirts for �60. and we are off to the great yorkshire on saturday for the week so the purse will no doubt loose a few pounds

Kind of stick with M&S because of my stumpy legs - their short length fits me, hippy type tops from Next, and wide fitting shoes from Cotton Traders

Yoghurt-wearing really can't be all that comfortable.
