Does it degrade over time? Can I put the large number of old rubber gloves I've accumulated on top of the Rayburn into the compost heap? I appreciate they'd take a while but that can be said about a lot of things that I put into the compost heap, olive stones and the like.

Anybody know?

Natural rubber degrades over time, synthetic less so.

Well, these are fair trade real rubber gloves no, really! And they're a nice green instead of the normal bilious yellow.

So I guess that means they'll be going on the compost then!
