BTCV are running a weekend hedgelaying course on the 3rd and 4th of December. 'Megahedge' has been an annual event for a few years now and is being held at Upper Boddington Village Hall from 10 till dusk next weekend. Certified training is offered to all abilities with hot soup and welfare tent available. Tools provided but please feel free to bring your own billhooks and/ or bowsaws if you have them. It is free of charge and the more the merrier (!). It would be great to see some local downsizers there.

I would LOVE to. But there's no way I'll escape next weekend, we'll still be decorating the living room. If anyone can go, then do so; hedge laying is great fun, and the BTCV are top guys to go and do stuff with.

Just seen this - can I ask why it was in here and not it in the one about whats on and courses and so on....... that'll teach me not to read every single post...... I would love to have been there today at least, and now I have to visit the parents tomorrow ! Can you let me know when the next one is on in very good time ? thanks RJ
