It has not been changed at all, it works in terms of since you last "new" login time. If you stay on line constantly in the sense that your cookies don't time out, then a lot more posts will appear.
Logout and login and you will not see the older posts.
No, I'm used to the posts staying on the list...but there's a flag in the icon that says whether you've read them or not. I'll read a thread, go back to Latest Posts, read another, go back, that first one is unflagged. Hop off the site. Come back later and those threads that I have read are flagged again (I expect them to be on the list but not flagged).
I've only noticed it today/yesterday.
Perhaps it is just me though. Many, many things are.
