I was only kidding but since you asked......

Its a very morish oatmeal stout with elderberries in it. It is a full mash all grain endeavour, probably making 55l of it. Should be ready for Winter Solstice 2013.

Commercially you can buy this

Which is very good. It is like a guinness with a slug of port in it.

I have only got one bottle left from my last batch in 2010.

Well Today is brewday 55L of elderberry stout is on. This is an all grain brew day making beer from the grains. The mash went on last night I should have 55L of wort ready to come out in an hour ready to boil with the hops and elderberry juice.

I will hopefully post some pictures later.

I'm making a mess.

I've designed a data structure to fulfil some related but slightly competing requirements, and it's Not Quite Right. Bit stuck. Pacing, tea, and soreen may be required.

I'm just off to Shrewsbury to buy the bits & pieces to complete the bathroom (loo roll holder, towel rail &c) then I can get on with painting in there.

So exciting!

Sometimes, some procrastination on DS is all that is needed to Solve Problems Inspiration has occurred, and I have a neat solution in mind to my earlier technical conundrum.

I've started a blog.... does that count:

Only done a couple of entries so far:

https://sallysewssometing.blogspot.co.uk/

Hope to add to it.

Also found Pinterest and have stuck up links to my aspirational projects:

Too many ideas out there and not enough time. I did however manage to buy a few pre-wound bobbins for the sewing machine on ebay, so I'll spend less time winding the bobbin up! (And singing that child's song in my head as I do so!)
