Most unusual and gripping programme I've watched in years.

Alexandra Roach has perfected the Cardiff accent - apparently she started her career as a child actress in Pobl y Cwm which is still as appalling as it ever was!

Going to watch episode 3 in a moment, once the milk has heated for hot chocolate.

We watched parts 1 and 2 last night - part 3 is on C4 tonight.

It's very good - and very cohesive. As if the story lines were all planned from the outset.

But - be warned - they've done nothing to tone down the violence...

I thought it was brilliant, especially episode 1 where they went back to the 70's and mixed in loads of real-life political events to back up the Janus story - really well though out and very clever.

Agree about the violence though although I guess it's a good way of showing how ruthless and determined the baddies are.

Indeed - very clever. Did you notice how the picture was shaped like an old square TV with round edges?

Yep, a very clever touch which made the widescreen, colour-saturated filming of episode 2 even more visually striking than normal.

And the music is still incredibly good
